Welcome to ASF!
Arlington Schools Foundation (ASF) is a 501 (c) (3) public charity committed to maintaining and improving a strong public school system in Arlington. ASF provides funding for educational and leadership grants that have system-wide impact on student learning K-12, and that improve and maintain high quality education over the long term.
At Arlington High School, ASF's four-year High School Improvement Grant supported, among other things, the creation of new courses, technology training for teachers, a community service coordinator, and a transition program for freshmen.
ASF's new initiative, Enriching Elementary Education, provides training and materials to enhance the social studies curriculum, as well as to help teachers engage students and increase achievement by making links between social studies, literacy, math, science, music, and art.
Partnering with the Arlington Educational Enrichment Fund, this year ASF funded an exciting new collaboration between the Arlington Public Schools and Primary Source, one of the most respected resources for social studies education in the country.
