Arlington Schools Foundation (ASF) is a 501 (c) (3) public charity committed to maintaining and improving a strong public school system in Arlington. ASF provides funding for educational and leadership grants that have system-wide impact on student learning K-12, and that improve and maintain high quality education over the long term.
Our Big News: We’re Merging!
We are thrilled to announce the merger of the Arlington Schools Foundation and the Arlington Educational Enrichment Fund, effective January 1, 2010. Building on the histories, strengths, and skills of ASF and AEEF, our new organization, the Arlington Education Foundation, will work to support and advance public education in Arlington by funding systemwide initiatives and creative new projects to enhance the educational experiences of Arlington’s teachers and students.
Our Big Gift!
At our Annual Fundraiser at Tryst on November 9, 2009, attendees were thrilled to learn that the PTO Thrift Shop is donating its remaining funds to the new Arlington Education Foundation. The $25,000 gift will be used to support new mid-sized grants in the Arlington Public Schools.
